Tec music was born out of my passion for music and creativity, it has always been my desire to create a platform where talented artist could thrive.   We have face our fair share of challenges like any other startups,  from securing funding to building a reputable brand in a crowded industry, but with determination and a dedicated team, we overcame all these and grew into the company we are today. Our Vision for Tec music is to be more than a label, a home for artist, a place where creativity flourish and career blossom. Our Vision for Tec music is to be more than a label, a home for artist, a place where creativity flourish and career blossom, what set us apart is our personalise  approach to artist management.

What qualities do you look for in artists when considering them for representation under Tec Music?

Well, discovering talent is both an art and a science, it involves keeping our ear to the ground, attending live performances and scouting online platform for hidden gems, once we find a promising artist like Xpacegirl our focus shift to posturing their talents.
At tech music, we value passion, authenticity and dedication above all else, of course, talent is essential but we also seek artist who are committed to their craft and also putting the hardwork to succeed.

How do you maintain a balance between artistic integrity and commercial success when guiding your artists' careers?

It all about finding the right balance. We believe that artistic integrity and commercial success are not mutually exclusive - in fact, they often go hand in hand. By staying  true to our Artist vision while also been mindful of Market trend. We can achieve both artistic fulfilment and commercial viability . I strongly believe Artist development is a collaborative process, we work closely with our artist to identify their strength and areas of improvement, it more like creating a balance between artistic expression and strategic planning.

Just recently we dropped our first project for the year A single featuring MILIMORE FIRE titled ‘’YOU JAH’’ we also have some exciting project in the pipeline for xpacegirl including a Campus tour and a new album release. Additionally, we are constantly scouting for fresh artist and exploring collaboration opportunities with other artist in our roaster.

Finally any advice for somebody who is trying  to venture into entertainment business like you do? What do you see as the biggest challenges and opportunities for independent record labels

My advice is to stay true to yourself and vision. Even when faced with obstacles along the way, surround yourself with a supportive team who share your vision and work ethic. The biggest challenge is staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly revolving industry, however. With challenges come opportunity - the chance, adapt and carve out a need for ourselves admits the competition.
